Catnip?

Original box: recylced from a tissue box

8 sided box made from acid free paper

Recently I have upgraded Taro's box to a much bigger 8 sided box, therefore he no longer need to squeeze himself in his small tiny blue tissue box.

By placing some dried catnip in there, it will stimulate and encourage him to utilise the box more often.

To me, catnip seems like a drug for cats and most cats will only react to it at the age of 6mth old or older. For Taro's case, he started sniffing and eating catnip at 4.5 mths old.

Catnip basically smell like herbal tea and was traditionally used to cure human's cold.

I am kind of glad that Taro no longer need to squeeze himself in a small tissue box, even though it may seems like he is more secure in there as compared to the new one. But cats are amazing, they will somehow make themselves comfortable, as seen in the above picture, Taro lies vertically so that the box will fold inwards, giving him a little protection and security...
